About

Inboxed brings multiple email accounts into a unified inbox, with per-account views, two-way IMAP sync and SMTP composing, replies, forwarding and drafts. It includes full-text search, notifications, a Dock badge and light/dark themes. The README states that HTML mail runs without scripts and blocks remote images until requested; these are developer claims, not an independent security audit.

This is an early macOS-only project by Emmanuel Ngoka, released as source under the MIT license. Password-based IMAP/SMTP is required; Gmail, Yahoo and iCloud need app passwords, and personal Outlook.com accounts are not supported. According to the developer, passwords use macOS Keychain and mail is stored locally in SQLite.

No official Release, tag or prebuilt installer was available when checked. The repository manifests say 0.1.0, which is not a published release. Building requires Node, Rust, Go and Tauri prerequisites. Minimum macOS, tested CPU architectures and a retail price are unverified. The download entry opens the official repository, not an installer.
