Granola is an AI-assisted notepad for meetings. It combines notes you type with meeting audio captured from your computer, helping turn conversations into organized notes without inviting a separate meeting bot.

Setup and compatibility

The official getting-started guide requires macOS 13 or later and recommends macOS 14.2 or later for best performance. Install the official Mac application and follow its account setup. The publisher’s Mac troubleshooting guide requires enabling Microphone and Screen & System Audio Recording for Granola in System Settings > Privacy & Security. Permission labels and capture behavior can vary with macOS version. Features and supported capture behavior depend on the platform and system version; confirm the current Mac requirements before installing on an older system. The publisher describes support for audio from Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and other meeting applications without adding a bot participant.
