Pulse is a Utilities app for Mac. It is free to use. It needs macOS 12 or later.

About

Pulse brings processes and hardware activity into one native desktop window. Inspect CPU cores, memory pressure, GPU engines, disk and network traffic, battery health, energy use and temperatures; find processes, inspect their relationships, and quit or force-quit them. Menu-bar readings keep selected metrics visible.

On macOS, the Apps page lists installed apps, Homebrew formulae/casks and mise tools, including update and removal actions. These actions change installed software; review them before use. Pulse is written in Go using MyGo, without a web view. The official site offers it free for Apple silicon Macs, Windows and Linux; this Homebrew cask installs only the Apple silicon Mac build.

Requires macOS 12 or later and Apple silicon. Install with brew install --cask pulse. The public GitHub repository is for feedback and release downloads, not the application source; no open-source license for Pulse itself was verified.

Install and uninstall

Homebrew installs the app in your Applications folder.

Install without Homebrew

Download the same file Homebrew uses: github.com/egoist/pulse-feedback/releases/download/v0.1.18/Pulse.0.1.18.arm64.dmg

SHA-256 only checks that the download is complete; it is not a security certification. See the SHA-256 and download address

Uninstall command
$ brew uninstall --cask pulse

A regular uninstall removes the app and keeps its settings and caches.

Deep clean (optional)
$ brew uninstall --zap --cask \pulse

--zap also deletes the settings, caches and other files listed in the Homebrew definition. They can include data shared with other apps and cannot be restored, and it does not guarantee that nothing is left.See which files are removed
