About

Ubuntu Nerd Font (Ubuntu) is a set of patched Ubuntu font files that adds extra glyphs for icons and symbols. This Homebrew cask installs the listed TrueType font files into ~/Library/Fonts; it is a font package, not an application.

  • Includes regular, bold, light, and medium styles, with several italic styles.
  • Includes condensed files and Propo files, including regular, bold, light, and medium styles.
  • Adds glyphs from icon collections such as Font Awesome, Material Design Icons, Octicons, and Devicons.

Install with brew install --cask font-ubuntu-nerd-font. After installation, select the installed Ubuntu Nerd Font style you want by its font name in your editor or terminal’s font settings. Installing the files does not install or launch an app. Added icon glyphs do not establish complete Unicode coverage or ligature support.
