About

TensorFold is a beta desktop workspace for coding with AI on a Mac. It bundles the TensorFold local inference engine and can also connect to OpenAI-compatible local or cloud endpoints. The agent can read and edit files, search a chosen workspace and run commands, with live responses, diffs and per-action approval options.

The model library combines downloads, hardware compatibility checks, memory requirements and local engine controls. Independent coding workers use Git worktrees and branches, with Stop, recovery and change review controls. A local authenticated API is available when a model is loaded.

Choose Minimal mode for menu bar server controls or Full mode for Chat, Code and Assistant. Settings and conversations are stored locally. Cloud providers and external connections use their own accounts, keys and permissions. Cortheon web research is disabled in this beta, and Living Weights remains experimental.

The project is published under Apache-2.0. The desktop app requires Apple silicon and macOS 13.3 or later. The separate standalone engine has its own releases and platform support.
