Claudoscope is a Developer Tools app for Mac. It needs macOS 14 or later.

About

Claudoscope is a free, MIT-licensed native macOS session dashboard. It reads local Claude Code and Cowork records, with conversation search, per-message token and cost estimates, file diffs, Trace timeline replay, bookmarks and terminal resume. Fleet shows running and waiting sessions; analytics summarizes project, model and cache usage. Optional notifications, spend alerts, local credential scanning and reversible security hardening are also available. Costs are estimates, not billing records. Session content is processed locally; update checks use the network.

Installation

Requires Apple Silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 14 or later; Intel is not currently supported. Install and use Claude Code at least once so ~/.claude/projects/ contains session data. With Homebrew installed, run the commands below, then open Claudoscope from Applications. Alternatively download the official release DMG, open it and drag the app into Applications.

brew install --cask claudoscope

Updating

brew upgrade --cask claudoscope

New What’s new in 1.4.0 Oct 8 · OpenNavo editorial · Translated

Session viewer release: Trace, Replay, share cards, minimap, bookmarks and terminal resume; lower CPU and memory use and corrected model pricing.

Install and uninstall

Homebrew installs the app in your Applications folder.

Install without Homebrew

Download the same file Homebrew uses: github.com/cordwainersmith/Claudoscope/releases/download/v1.4.0/Claudoscope.dmg

SHA-256 only checks that the download is complete; it is not a security certification. See the SHA-256 and download address

Uninstall command
$ brew uninstall --cask \claudoscope

A regular uninstall removes the app and keeps its settings and caches.

Deep clean (optional)
$ brew uninstall --zap --cask \claudoscope

--zap also deletes the settings, caches and other files listed in the Homebrew definition. They can include data shared with other apps and cannot be restored, and it does not guarantee that nothing is left.See which files are removed
