Royal TSX
Royal Apps GmbH · A Mac connection manager organizing remote desktops, terminals, file transfers and credentials in reusable documents.
About
Royal TSX organizes remote-system access for administrators, support engineers and people managing multiple servers. Its document/navigation interface groups connections, credentials, folders and tasks, while plug-ins provide connection types such as RDP, SSH, VNC, web views and file transfer. Templates, scripting and shared documents reduce repeated configuration; it is not a hosted remote-access service or a substitute for permission to administer the target systems.
Requirements and installation
The publisher's current-major system requirements state macOS 11 Big Sur or newer and list supported releases through macOS 27. The feature list documents native Apple Silicon support; a publisher Universal-app announcement also documents Intel/ARM packaging from version 5 onward. Plug-in and target-protocol compatibility still need to match your environment. The exact 6.4.5.1000 DMG endpoint reports 41,928,074 bytes in HTTP Content-Length. Numeric minimum RAM requirements are not stated in the checked product/system pages; simultaneous sessions, displays and plug-ins determine practical needs.
Download the official signed/notarized DMG, install Royal TSX in Applications and use the plug-in manager to install required connection types. Configure each target's hostname, port, protocol and credentials; ensure its server/service accepts connections and that your network or VPN can reach it. Royal Server and third-party remote-access products can be separate dependencies for their own integrations, not mandatory for every connection. No server installation or connection was performed while preparing this listing.
Credentials, automation and permissions
Connection documents can contain sensitive server details and credentials. Use a strong document-encryption password, appropriate file permissions and backups; share only the data colleagues are authorized to use. Keychain integration can reduce repeated password entry. Touch ID protection requires suitable Mac hardware and a protected document; it is optional, not a general hardware prerequisite.
Protocol security differs: verify host keys/certificates, prefer secure protocols and avoid clear-text Telnet for sensitive credentials. Clipboard/file-transfer redirection can expose local or remote data. Install trusted plug-ins/scripts and review tasks before running them because automation can execute commands on valuable systems. Grant macOS file access, Accessibility or screen-related permissions only where the chosen plug-in/workflow requires them; privileges and credentials should match the task.
License, limits and fees
Royal TSX is proprietary software. The published Shareware Mode permits use without registration, a license key or time limit but limits an instance to 10 connections, 10 credentials and one document; the Mac AppleScript interface is unavailable in that mode. Paid licenses remove these limits, and the download page offers a 30-day unrestricted trial license. Existing version 6 purchase/FAQ pages describe perpetual usage with a defined software-maintenance period; maintenance and usage rights are distinct.
On October 6, 2026, Royal Apps announced a future annual-subscription option alongside a perpetual license with longer maintenance/support, replacing its earlier exclusively-perpetual plan for upcoming products/releases. The announcement says final pricing and transition rules will be published before availability. Do not treat that future announcement as proof that the catalog 6.4.5 license already expires annually. Check current purchase terms and entitlements before buying or upgrading. Remote server, cloud, plug-in and third-party service costs can be separate.
Accounts, network use and privacy
Ordinary local document management and limited Shareware use do not require registration; purchasing, trials and customer-portal management have their own account/contact workflows. Remote sessions connect to your selected target systems, while updates, plug-in downloads and optional cloud/team integrations can use the network. Protect exported documents, logs and support bundles from leaking passwords or internal addresses.
The publisher privacy information covers its website, customer portal, licensing and support and says those websites do not use analytics/advertising/cross-site tracking. That scope does not prove the desktop app and every plug-in have no telemetry. No blanket offline/no-telemetry claim is made here. The official annotated navigation-panel image is genuine product-page documentation, not a verified 6.4.5 capture; Official Royal TSi Lite companion-family artwork is used with the scope stated below.
