About

Symbols Nerd Font (Symbols Only) contains two symbol-focused font files: SymbolsNerdFont-Regular.ttf and SymbolsNerdFontMono-Regular.ttf. Use them alongside other fonts to display symbols missing from the selected text font.

  • Includes a regular-width file and a monospaced file.
  • Intended as a symbol fallback, not a standalone text font.

Install with Homebrew Cask:

brew install --cask font-symbols-only-nerd-font

After installation, select Symbols Nerd Font or Symbols Nerd Font Mono in an editor or terminal that supports font fallback, or configure it as a fallback font. This package installs font files, not an application.

How to install Symbols Nerd Font (Symbols Only) on Mac

  1. In Terminal, run: brew install --cask font-symbols-only-nerd-font
  2. Homebrew installs the font in ~/Library/Fonts, where Font Book can use it.
