FiraCode Nerd Font (Fira Code)

FiraCode Nerd Font is a font package based on Fira Code, patched by the Nerd Fonts project to add glyphs for icons and symbols. This Homebrew cask installs font files, not an application.

The installed files include standard, Mono, and Propo forms in selected weights such as Light, Regular, Medium, Retina, SemiBold, and Bold. The patched fonts include additional glyphs from icon sets such as Font Awesome, Material Design Icons, Octicons, and Powerline symbols. Available glyphs can vary by font and patch.

Install with brew install --cask font-fira-code-nerd-font. After installation, select the installed FiraCode Nerd Font family or a specific variant in your editor or terminal’s font settings; the cask does not select it automatically. This package installs the listed font files, not every possible Fira Code or Nerd Font variant. Full Unicode coverage and ligature support are not established.
