About

Playfair Display is a typeface offered through Google Fonts. This Homebrew cask installs two font files: an upright variable font and an italic variable font. It installs fonts, not a separate application.

The installed files are PlayfairDisplay[wght].ttf and PlayfairDisplay-Italic[wght].ttf. The [wght] notation is part of each filename; the cask identifies the files but does not specify a range of weights or additional styles.

To install, run:

brew install --cask font-playfair-display

After installation, select Playfair Display in an application that supports installed fonts, such as a word processor or design application. The font files alone do not establish particular language coverage or application features.
