OpenDyslexic Nerd Font
Nerd Fonts contributors · OpenDyslexic font families patched with Nerd Fonts icon glyphs for terminal, editor and text workflows.
OpenDyslexic Nerd Font is a font you can install on a Mac.
About
OpenDyslexic Nerd Font is a font collection distributed by the Nerd Fonts project, not a standalone macOS application. It combines the OpenDyslexic family with additional icon glyphs used by developer tools and text-based interfaces.
Fonts and glyphs
Nerd Fonts patches existing typefaces with symbols from collections such as Font Awesome, Devicons and Octicons. The Homebrew package includes OpenDyslexic, OpenDyslexicAlt and OpenDyslexicM variants, with regular, bold, italic, proportional and selected monospaced styles as listed in the cask. It does not install an editor, terminal emulator or graphical font-management application.
Installation and use
Homebrew installs the supplied OpenType files into the user font library. After installation, select an installed family in the font settings of the application where you want to use it. Terminal themes that reference Nerd Fonts icons need a patched family selected; installing the font alone does not configure a shell theme or editor integration.
Version scope
The recorded version 3.5.1 is the Nerd Fonts distribution version, not an asserted OpenDyslexic upstream release. The official 3.5.1 notes cover the complete Nerd Fonts collection: updated Devicons, a SpaceMono ligature change and archive directory flattening. The SpaceMono item is not an OpenDyslexic-specific fix.
Visual assets
This font-only package has no standalone application interface. No genuine application icon or Mac application screenshot has been established; no unrelated interface image is supplied.
