Linux Libertine
Philipp H. Poll · A multilingual font family with nine installed font files and OpenType typographic features.
About
Linux Libertine is a font family described by its creators as a libre, multilingual collection. This Homebrew cask installs nine specific TTF files; it installs fonts, not an application.
The official site describes support for Western languages and characters from Greek, Cyrillic, Hebrew, and IPA, among other scripts. It also documents OpenType features including ligatures, small capitals, fractions, multiple numeral styles, stylistic alternatives, and purpose-designed superior and inferior characters. These are family-level descriptions and do not establish full Unicode coverage or that every feature is available in each installed file.
The cask installs LinLibertine_Rah.ttf, LinLibertine_I.ttf, LinLibertine_Mah.ttf, LinLibertine_RBIah.ttf, LinLibertine_RBah.ttf, LinLibertine_RIah.ttf, LinLibertine_RZIah.ttf, LinLibertine_RZah.ttf, and LinLibertine_DRah.ttf into the user’s Fonts folder. Install with brew install --cask font-linux-libertine, then select the installed font in an application that supports custom fonts, such as a word processor or design application.
