TeX Gyre Termes is a serif font family that GUST describes as based on URW Nimbus Roman No9 L. GUST presents it as a possible replacement for Times (new) Roman. The Homebrew cask installs four OpenType font files:
- Regular (
texgyretermes-regular.otf) - Italic (
texgyretermes-italic.otf) - Bold (
texgyretermes-bold.otf) - Bold italic (
texgyretermes-bolditalic.otf)
This cask installs these four font styles, not a TeX application or the broader TeX Gyre package collection. After installation, select TeX Gyre Termes in the font menu of a compatible application to use it; installing the files alone does not select the font for you.
Install with brew install --cask font-tex-gyre-termes. The font files are placed in ~/Library/Fonts.
