IBM Plex Sans JP is the Japanese sans-serif member of the IBM Plex typeface family. The IBM Plex project describes the family as designed for user interfaces and other typographic settings, and identifies Japanese among the scripts supported by IBM Plex Sans.

This Homebrew cask installs eight OpenType files: Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Medium, Regular, SemiBold, Text, and Bold. The IBM Plex project states that the typeface is available under the Open Font License (OFL).

Install with brew install --cask font-ibm-plex-sans-jp. After installation, select the IBM Plex Sans JP style you want in a compatible application that offers font selection. Installing the cask adds font files; it does not install an app.
