About

EnvyCodeR Nerd Font is the Nerd Fonts-patched version of Envy Code R, a font family that includes extra glyphs. The Nerd Fonts project describes its patched fonts as adding glyphs from icon collections and other symbol sets.

This Homebrew cask installs nine specific font files:

  • Regular, bold, and italic styles of EnvyCodeRNerdFont.
  • Regular, bold, and italic styles of EnvyCodeRNerdFontMono.
  • Regular, bold, and italic styles of EnvyCodeRNerdFontPropo.

The filenames distinguish the standard, Mono, and Propo variants; the installed files do not include every possible Envy Code R or Nerd Font variant. The font files are installed in the user’s ~/Library/Fonts folder. This is a font, not an application. To use it, select the installed font by name in an application that supports custom fonts. Choose a monospaced variant in a compatible editor or terminal if you want fixed-width text. The presence of patched font files does not establish complete Unicode coverage or ligature support.

Install with Homebrew Cask:

brew install --cask font-envy-code-r-nerd-font
