OpenRA is a real-time strategy game engine for Westwood games. This Homebrew cask installs three separate applications: OpenRA - Dune 2000, OpenRA - Red Alert, and OpenRA - Tiberian Dawn.

The project presents its games as classic strategy experiences rebuilt with updated gameplay. Its official site highlights features such as attack-move, unit veterancy, and fog of war. It also describes online play, support for mods and custom maps, and updated campaigns with additional objectives and difficulty settings. Community-created and curated maps are available, and the project includes a Mod SDK for creating new RTS games.

To install this cask on macOS, run:

brew install --cask openra

After installation, open the application for the game you want to play from your Applications folder. This cask is the regular OpenRA release, not the separate playtest cask; it conflicts with openra@playtest.

如何在 Mac 上安裝 OpenRA

OpenRA 安全嗎？

OpenRA 收錄在 Homebrew 官方軟體庫中，沒有被停用。自 2026 年 9 月起，Homebrew 會停用沒有通過 macOS Gatekeeper 檢查的應用。安裝時，Homebrew 會用 SHA-256 校驗值核對來自 github.com 的安裝檔。過去 30 天，它透過 Homebrew 安裝了 215 次。
