LibreOffice Still is Homebrew’s stable-channel packaging of LibreOffice, the free and open-source office suite developed by the LibreOffice community and The Document Foundation. This listing is the exact libreoffice-still cask, not the separate libreoffice cask.

Six integrated tools

Writer handles documents from quick notes to full-length books. Calc provides spreadsheets for data analysis, calculations and visualizations. Impress creates multimedia presentations. Draw supports diagrams and illustrations. Base brings together database tables, forms, queries and reports, while Math edits mathematical formulas visually or as plain text.

Deployment and installation

The Homebrew description identifies this stable version as recommended for enterprises. The recorded cask installs LibreOffice.app and also supplies command-line utilities such as soffice, unopkg and gengal. It conflicts with the separate libreoffice cask, so select the intended channel rather than installing both simultaneously. Use brew install --cask libreoffice-still.

The current backend-recorded artifact is the LibreOffice 26.2.6 Apple-silicon macOS DMG. Intel builds have a separate artifact and checksum. The Still channel version should not be confused with the newer release advertised on the upstream homepage. Consult the exact-version notes and upstream deployment guidance when selecting an office-suite build.
