介紹

ES-DE (EmulationStation Desktop Edition) is a macOS frontend for browsing and launching games from a multi-platform collection. It comes preconfigured for a selection of emulators, game engines, game managers, and gaming services, and can also launch locally installed games and applications.

  • Navigate the interface with a controller or use its configurable settings and appearance options.
  • Scrape game information and media, including images, videos, and manuals.
  • Change the look with themes; themes can be downloaded through the built-in theme downloader.
  • Expand the setup with support for additional systems and applications.

Install with brew install --cask es-de. The cask installs ES-DE.app in /Applications. After installation, use the application’s installation guide for setup and configuration details. The Homebrew cask is for macOS; the official project also lists releases for other platforms, but they are not installed by this cask.
