Descrizione

Noto Sans CJK JP is the Japanese variant of Noto Sans CJK, a sans-serif font family for CJK writing. This Homebrew cask installs seven static OTF files: Thin, Light, DemiLight, Regular, Medium, Bold, and Black.

  • Choose among seven included weights to suit different text emphasis and layout needs.
  • The official Noto CJK guide describes the font format as supporting horizontal and vertical forms where appropriate.
  • This cask installs the Japanese font files only; it does not install the other Noto Sans CJK language variants or the separate Mono, variable, subset, OTC, or Super OTC formats.

Install with brew install --cask font-noto-sans-cjk-jp. After installation, select the installed Noto Sans CJK JP font and desired weight in your editor, design application, or other software with a font selector. This package installs font files, not an application.

The listed font files establish the included weights, but do not by themselves establish full Unicode coverage or ligature support.
