Descrizione

Hasklig is a monospaced font for displaying code. It extends Source Code Pro with ligatures: selected sequences of characters, such as -> and >>=, can appear as combined glyphs without changing the text in the source code.

The project describes the ligatures as a way to make multi-character operators more vivid and improve the appearance of spacing in a monospaced font. Its documented symbol set includes operators used in Haskell, among them <*>, =>, =<<, and -<.

The Homebrew cask installs these OpenType files in ~/Library/Fonts: regular, light, extra-light, medium, bold, and black styles, along with italic files for several weights. The installed files are specific styles, not a font application or a font manager.

Install with:

brew install --cask font-hasklig

After installation, choose Hasklig as the font in a compatible code editor or terminal. Ligature display depends on the application’s font-rendering support. The font changes how selected character sequences look; the underlying code remains the same.

Come installare Hasklig sul Mac

  1. Esegui in “Terminale”: brew install --cask font-hasklig
  2. Homebrew installa il font in ~/Library/Fonts, dove Libro Font può usarlo.
