Présentation

Source Han Code JP is a font family designed for displaying mixed Latin and Japanese text, including in programming and terminal contexts. It derives from Source Han Sans JP and replaces proportional Latin glyphs with fixed-width forms adapted from Source Code Pro.

Latin glyphs use a fixed width of 667 units, scaled to match Japanese kana and kanji.
The installed files include 14 OTF styles: upright and italic variants across Regular, Bold, ExtraLight, Heavy, Light, Medium, and Normal weights.
The font is intended for mixed-script display, programming, HTML/CSS editing, text viewing, and terminal text.
The project describes support for Greek, Cyrillic, Roman Italic, and some emoji glyphs; this does not establish complete Unicode coverage. The font does not support GPOS features.

Install with Homebrew using brew install --cask font-source-han-code-jp. After installation, select the installed Source Han Code JP font in a compatible application’s font settings; for coding or terminal use, choose it in the editor or terminal’s font preferences. This installs a font, not an application.
