Présentation

ProFontX is a monospace font for OS X, based on ProFont by Stephen C. Gilardi and Carl Osterwald. It was made by removing ligatures from the font file. The original ProFont is described as distinguishing clearly between O and 0, and between i, l, and 1.

The Homebrew cask installs one font file, named ProFontX, in ~/Library/Fonts/ProFontX. It is a font, not an application. After installation, select ProFontX in a compatible application’s font settings. As a monospace font, it can be selected in an editor or terminal that supports custom fonts.

The included font file is based on a ProFont version from before the Euro symbol was added to the typeface. The official page does not state that ProFontX includes that symbol.

Install with Homebrew using brew install --cask font-profontx.

Comment installer ProFontX sur Mac

  1. Dans « Terminal », exécutez : brew install --cask font-profontx
  2. Homebrew installe la police dans ~/Library/Fonts, où Livre des polices peut l’utiliser.

Installer sans Homebrew

Téléchargez le même fichier que Homebrew : www.faisal.com/software/profontx/ProFontX.zip

Désinstaller ProFontX et nettoyer éventuellement ses données

Commande de désinstallation
brew uninstall --cask font-profontx

Une désinstallation standard supprime l’app mais conserve ses réglages et ses caches.
