Présentation

Pennstander is a text and mathematics typeface based on Grandstander, aimed at LuaLaTeX and ConTeXt. The Homebrew cask installs font files; it does not install an application.

The installed files include upright text fonts from Thin through Black, italic text fonts in selected weights, and PennstanderMath fonts in Thin, Regular, Medium, SemiBold, Bold, ExtraBold, and Black weights. The text font provides upright and italic characters, stylistic alternates, and some emoji. The math fonts include Latin and Greek letters, integral and other mathematical symbols, brackets, accents, arrows, and radicals. The project describes text support for over 500 languages; that does not establish complete Unicode coverage. The repository identifies the font as a beta version.

Install with brew install --cask font-pennstander. After installation, select the actual Pennstander or PennstanderMath font in a compatible application. For typeset documents, the project provides usage examples for LuaLaTeX and ConTeXt; selecting the font in an application does not configure those systems for you. Choose matching text and math weights as needed. The cask installs specific font files, not every possible Pennstander variant. These font files do not establish ligature support.

Comment installer Pennstander sur Mac

  1. Dans « Terminal », exécutez : brew install --cask font-pennstander
  2. Homebrew installe la police dans ~/Library/Fonts, où Livre des polices peut l’utiliser.

Installer sans Homebrew

Téléchargez le même fichier que Homebrew : github.com/juliusross1/Pennstander/archive/refs/tags/v0.5.0.tar.gz

Désinstaller Pennstander et nettoyer éventuellement ses données

Commande de désinstallation
brew uninstall --cask font-pennstander
