Présentation

Meltho Fonts is a collection of more than 20 Unicode OpenType fonts for working with Syriac text. The Homebrew cask installs specific font files, rather than a separate application.

The installed files include the SyrCOM families and styles listed below:

Families include Antioch, Batnan, Ctesiphon, Edessa, Jerusalem, Kharput, Malankara, Mardin, Midyat, Nisibin, QenNeshrin, Talada, TurAbdin, Urhoy, and Adiabene.
The installed set includes named bold, italic, and outline styles for some families; it does not install every style for every family.
The fonts are Unicode OpenType fonts. The official site describes the package as a Syriac font collection.

Install with brew install --cask font-meltho. After installation, select the desired installed font by name in an application that supports font selection, such as a document editor or other suitable text application. The cask installs fonts, not an app or the separate Multi-Lingual Scholar converter mentioned on the project site.

Comment installer Meltho Fonts sur Mac

Dans « Terminal », exécutez : brew install --cask font-meltho
Homebrew installe la police dans ~/Library/Fonts, où Livre des polices peut l’utiliser.
