Présentation

Inconsolata LGC is a font family derived from Inconsolata, with Greek and Cyrillic glyphs and additional symbols. The Homebrew cask installs four TrueType font files: regular, bold, italic, and bold italic. It installs fonts, not a separate application.

  • Includes Greek and Cyrillic glyphs, as well as straight quotation marks.
  • Supports OpenType localized forms for several languages, including Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, and Serbian.
  • Offers selectable character variants and style features, such as alternate zero shapes, old-style numerals, and a raised colon in supported contexts.
  • The project documents limitations for some languages; for example, it states that the font does not fully support Navajo or Marshallese.

Install with brew install --cask font-inconsolata-lgc. After installation, select the installed Inconsolata LGC font in an application that supports custom fonts. For coding, choose it in a compatible editor or terminal. Available OpenType features depend on the application; this cask installs the four listed static font files, not the separately described variable-font package. The project also notes that Hanzi is not included, so this is not a Chinese font.

Comment installer Inconsolata LGC sur Mac

  1. Dans « Terminal », exécutez : brew install --cask font-inconsolata-lgc
  2. Homebrew installe la police dans ~/Library/Fonts, où Livre des polices peut l’utiliser.
