Présentation

Annotation Mono is an idealized handwriting-style monospace font, drawing on letterforms inspired by bitmap fonts while prioritizing legibility. Its variable font provides weight, slant, and cursive axes: weights range from Thin to ExtraBlack, and slant can move from Upright to Oblique. The font also offers four styles through these settings: Regular, Italic, Oblique, and Upright Italic.

Standard ligatures connect selected multi-character sequences, including arrow-like forms; Stylistic Set 01 adds ligatures for <= and >=.
Stylistic Set 02 provides less loopy italic forms, with individual character alternatives available through cv01–cv05.
Old-style numerals are available through the OpenType onum feature.
The stated language support covers a broad range of Latin-based languages; additional language support and technical glyphs are planned.

Install with brew install --cask font-annotation-mono. Then select the installed Annotation Mono font in a compatible application, such as an editor or terminal when using it for code. This installs a font, not an application. Ligatures and stylistic features depend on the application’s support and settings.

Comment installer Annotation Mono sur Mac

Dans « Terminal », exécutez : brew install --cask font-annotation-mono
Homebrew installe la police dans ~/Library/Fonts, où Livre des polices peut l’utiliser.
