Beschreibung

Departure Mono is a monospaced pixel font with a lo-fi technical look. Its design draws on early command-line and graphical interfaces, small pixel fonts from the late 1990s and early 2000s, and science-fiction film and television.

  • Its monospaced design gives characters consistent spacing.
  • The pixel-inspired style is intended to evoke retro interfaces and computing.
  • For pixel-perfect results, the project recommends font sizes in increments of 11 px; adjusting letter spacing is another option.
  • The Homebrew cask installs the DepartureMono-Regular.otf file.

Install with brew install --cask font-departure-mono. After installation, select Departure Mono in a compatible application’s font settings; installing this package adds a font, not a separate application.
