About

VoceVista Video is a sound-analysis application for recording and interactively exploring sounds. Its visual displays help reveal a sound’s fundamental melody, timbre and overtones, and make it possible to compare audio files visually. It is particularly suited to providing feedback during singing practice and documenting vocal development in voice education or therapy.

  • Visualize vocal characteristics such as singer’s formant, vocal onset, timbre and vibrato.
  • Monitor pitch and practice intervals and melodies with visual feedback.
  • Examine overtones, including for overtone singing, and explore how sound relates to musical perception.
  • Use sound visualizations and comparisons in voice teaching, music education and documentation of vocal progress.

To install the macOS application with Homebrew, run brew install --cask vocevista-video. The cask installs VoceVista Video.app in /Applications. macOS Ventura (macOS 13) or later is required.
