About
OnKey by Daniel Murrell learns a song's vocal melody after playback and provides scrolling notes, live pitch feedback and line-by-line scoring on later plays. It is free and open source. Requires Apple silicon M1 or later and macOS 14.2 or later. Download OnKey.dmg and drag the app to Applications. Microphone and system audio recording permissions are needed. Music must come from your own player; OnKey does not provide or download songs. It uses online services for song identification, lyrics and artwork, so it is not entirely offline. Use music you are entitled to play for personal practice.
