Vercel CLI is Developer Tools software for Mac. It is free to use. It needs macOS 13 or later.

About

Vercel CLI is the command-line interface for Vercel. Deploy projects, run local development, inspect deployments and logs, and manage project configuration, environment variables and domains from a terminal or automation workflow. Commands that access Vercel resources require suitable authentication and permissions.

This Homebrew cask installs the native macOS command-line executable and exposes both vercel and vc; it is not a desktop GUI application. Requires macOS 13 or later. Install with brew install --cask vercel, then use vercel login and consult the command documentation.

The CLI is open source under Apache-2.0. Vercel cloud services have separate plan limits and billing; a free CLI does not make all deployments or paid services free. The selected cask version is 64.0.2; newer upstream releases are outside this preparation.

Install and uninstall

Install without Homebrew

Download the file Homebrew uses for your chip: Apple siliconIntel

SHA-256 only checks that the download is complete; it is not a security certification. See the SHA-256 and download address

Uninstall command
$ brew uninstall --cask vercel

A regular uninstall removes the app and keeps its settings and caches.

Deep clean (optional)
$ brew uninstall --zap --cask \vercel

--zap also deletes the settings, caches and other files listed in the Homebrew definition. They can include data shared with other apps and cannot be restored, and it does not guarantee that nothing is left.See which files are removed
