T3 Code Nightly is a Developer Tools app for Mac. It needs macOS 13 or later.

About

T3 Code provides a common interface for coding agents already configured on your computer. Organize projects and conversations, follow agent activity, inspect code changes and use supported source-control workflows from its desktop or web interface. Remote mobile access can connect to the same running agent environment. This entry installs the nightly desktop channel; it is intended for users willing to test frequent changes and encounter bugs.

Bring your own agents

The official project documents support for providers including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Build, OpenCode and Antigravity. Install and authenticate a supported provider before starting work; T3 Code is a control surface rather than a free replacement for the provider's model access. Available models, features and permission modes depend on the installed provider and app version.

Install and first run

Download a matching Mac nightly DMG from the official release repository and install the desktop application, or use the t3-code@nightly cask. The cask requires macOS 13 or later and provides processor-specific Mac downloads. Stable desktop builds and other platform packages are separate downloads. Open a project folder, choose an authenticated provider and review the permissions and proposed changes. The server and clients should be kept compatible when updating; check the documented remote-access setup before using a phone or another machine.

Cost and data

T3 Code is open source under MIT and the project states that it sells no subscription for this control surface. Your coding-agent subscriptions, API usage and infrastructure can incur their own charges. Code, prompts and tool output are processed according to the provider and remote-access configuration you choose. Agents may execute commands or change files under their configured permissions, so select trusted repositories, review changes and retain source-control history. Avoid exposing a local server without the project's authentication and remote-access guidance.

Nightly builds are distinct from the project's unsupported preview builds. Nightlies change frequently and can regress; choose stable releases for workflows that need a more predictable update cadence. Neither an open-source interface nor a local server implies that hosted model calls stay entirely on your Mac.
