SSL Download Manager is Solid State Logic’s macOS application for managing SSL plug-in installations. This Homebrew cask installs the macOS app, rather than an individual plug-in.
- Install individual SSL plug-ins or all SSL plug-ins from the manager.
- View plug-in release notes and version history, and see when updates are available; the app can also update itself when an update is available.
- Uninstall or reinstall individual plug-ins, or manage all of them together.
- Use the in-app support page and FAQs, and clear downloaded installers to free storage.
Install with brew install --cask ssl-download-manager, then open SSL Download Manager from your Applications folder. The cask requires macOS 12 or later. The manager is for SSL plug-ins; it is not itself a plug-in. Its plug-in installation and update options concern SSL products, and the cask does not install those plug-ins for you.
