PdfCraft is ArtCraft’s free, open-source PDF workbench, written in Rust. It runs locally without an account, telemetry or a cloud service.
Read and search PDFs, navigate bookmarks, organize and rotate pages, combine files, extract pages and split documents. Work with protected PDFs while respecting document permissions; incremental, atomic saves preserve the original bytes. The interface includes comments, forms, layers and attachments, with light and dark themes.
Available on macOS, Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and the web. The macOS 0.4.0 download is a universal DMG. This is early-alpha software; tools still in development are identified by milestone in the interface.
