MacLoggerDX
Dog Park Software Ltd. · Beta macOS ham-radio logging and rig-control software for managing contacts, DX spots, and radio equipment.
About
MacLoggerDX is a beta macOS application for amateur-radio logging and rig control. It organizes radio contacts and DX Cluster spots, and can connect logging activity with supported radios and related ham-radio software. This cask installs the beta variant, which is separate from the regular macloggerdx cask.
- Log contacts in a SQLite database; import and export ADIF files, and export reports, SOTA CSV, and KML.
- Filter and display DX Cluster spots, including worked or confirmed status, with band-activity displays and 2D, 3D, and web-map views.
- Control supported radios and rotor controllers, with spot-driven radio tuning and beam positioning. The official site lists specific supported equipment and protocols.
- Log directly from WSJT-X, JTDX, JS8Call, and MacDoppler, and provides integrations for services including Club Log, QRZ Logbook, LoTW, HRDLOG, and eQSL.
Install the beta with brew install --cask macloggerdx@beta. It requires macOS 12 or later. The cask conflicts with the regular macloggerdx cask, so use one variant at a time. The publisher describes V6 as requiring registration to work beyond its 15-minute demo limit; a free demo can be run repeatedly. Check the publisher's radio and rotor lists for the equipment relevant to your setup.
