Mac Mouse Fix

Mac Mouse Fix is a macOS utility that extends the controls available on third-party mice. It offers configurable gestures and scrolling options, with the exact gestures available depending in part on the mouse’s buttons.

• Assign actions to mouse buttons, including clicks, double-clicks, and click-and-drag gestures.
• Map mouse actions to keyboard shortcuts, such as copy and paste, or opening a new Safari tab.
• Choose among high, regular, or off scrolling smoothness; change mouse scrolling direction independently of a trackpad or Magic Mouse; and use keyboard modifiers for precise scrolling or zooming.
• Use supported gestures for tasks such as navigating desktops, invoking Mission Control, zooming, and scrolling in any direction.

Install this version with brew install --cask mac-mouse-fix@2. The cask installs Mac Mouse Fix.app in /Applications. The website describes features that require a mouse with at least five buttons; some mice with proprietary drivers may not expose every button to the app. The site also says Apple Magic Mouse is not currently supported.
