About
Lotus is a macOS app for keeping up with GitHub notifications. Its inbox helps you focus on the notifications you want to handle, while leaving others out of view.
- Filter the inbox by notification type or repository, and review notifications together on one page.
- Send notifications from unfamiliar repositories to a Screener, where you can choose to mute them or add them to the inbox.
- Manage individual threads with actions such as marking as read, replying later, bookmarking, or muting without blocking a user or repository.
- Separate work and personal notifications with Work Hours: the homepage describes work notifications as visible from 9 to 5, with personal notifications shown during off time.
- Use Focus Zone, a Pomodoro-like mode for selecting repositories and setting aside time to review notifications one by one.
Install the macOS app with brew install --cask lotus, then open Lotus from Applications. The cask installs Lotus.app in /Applications. Lotus is for GitHub notifications; the supplied product information does not describe other notification services.
