Live Home 3D

Live Home 3D is a Mac home-design application for creating floor plans and viewing them as 3D projects. You can draw a new plan or trace an existing one, then explore the design in 3D while arranging furniture and decorations or changing wall colors.

• Create floor plans and inspect them in 3D; an elevation view provides a 2D side view of a project.
• Add furniture, decorations, plants, and materials from the app’s library, or import 3D objects in FBX, 3DS, COLLADA, and OBJ formats.
• Adjust light sources and use a home’s geolocation to assess daylight at different times.
• Create project images, floor-plan exports, and walkthrough videos. The official site lists formats including PDF for floor plans and several image and 3D model formats for other outputs.
• The product site describes additional Pro features, including terrain editing and advanced material and construction tools; availability depends on the edition.

Install with brew install --cask live-home-3d. The Homebrew cask requires macOS 12 or later. After installation, open Live Home 3D from Applications to begin a project. The download is the Mac application, not an iPhone or iPad edition.
