GPG Suite (without GPG Mail) is Security & Privacy software for Mac.

About

GPG Suite (without GPG Mail) is the macOS edition of GPG Suite that omits the GPG Mail email extension. It brings together a graphical key manager, macOS Services actions, and the MacGPG encryption engine for working with OpenPGP.

  • Manage OpenPGP keys: GPG Keychain can create keys, display your keys and others’ keys, and import keys from a key server. Key details can be managed, and advanced key-creation settings include key size, expiration date, and algorithm.
  • Work with text and files: GPG Services adds actions to the macOS Services context menu for encrypting, decrypting, signing, and verifying selected text, files, and folders.
  • Use the underlying engine: MacGPG provides the command-line route for users familiar with terminal-based GPG tools.
  • Keep email integration separate: This cask does not install GPG Mail. The official site describes GPG Mail as a separate Mail integration; its email-specific buttons and message handling are not part of this no-mail variant.

To install, run brew install --cask gpg-suite-no-mail. Then open GPG Keychain to create or import keys; use GPG Services from an application's macOS Services menu, or use MacGPG from the command line. This cask is for macOS and conflicts with gpg-suite, gpg-suite-pinentry, and gpg-suite@nightly, so those variants cannot be installed alongside it.

Uninstall command
$ brew uninstall --cask \      gpg-suite-no-mail

A regular uninstall removes the app and keeps its settings and caches.

Deep clean (optional)
$ brew uninstall --zap --cask \      gpg-suite-no-mail

--zap also deletes the settings, caches and other files listed in the Homebrew definition. They can include data shared with other apps and cannot be restored, and it does not guarantee that nothing is left.See which files are removed
