About

Ubuntu Sans Mono is a monospaced font available through Google Fonts. The Homebrew Cask installs two font files: a regular file and an italic file. Both filenames include a [wght] marker.

  • Monospaced typeface for uses that call for fixed-width text.
  • Includes regular and italic font files; these are the specific files installed by this cask.
  • Installs the fonts in ~/Library/Fonts.

Install with brew install --cask font-ubuntu-sans-mono. After installation, select Ubuntu Sans Mono in a compatible application. For coding or terminal use, choose it in the editor or terminal’s font settings; installing the font does not install a separate application. The included files establish which styles are provided, but do not by themselves establish full Unicode coverage or ligature support.
