About

TeX Gyre Pagella is a serif typeface family based on URW Palladio L. GUST describes the family as usable as a replacement for Palatino and notes that Vietnamese glyphs were added. This Homebrew cask installs four OpenType font files:

  • Regular: texgyrepagella-regular.otf
  • Italic: texgyrepagella-italic.otf
  • Bold: texgyrepagella-bold.otf
  • Bold italic: texgyrepagella-bolditalic.otf

Install it with brew install --cask font-tex-gyre-pagella. After installation, select TeX Gyre Pagella in the font menu of an application that supports installed fonts, such as a word processor or page-layout app. Installing this cask adds font files; it does not install a separate application. The cask installs the four listed OpenType styles, not the additional Type 1, TFM, or LaTeX-support files mentioned in GUST’s broader font package information.
