About
JuliaMono is a monospaced typeface intended for programming and text-editing settings, particularly scientific and technical work. This Homebrew cask installs font files; it does not install a separate application.
- The installed set includes regular, light, medium, bold, extra-bold, and black weights, with matching italic files for each of those weights.
- Its design aims to provide a broad selection of specialist and technical Unicode characters, including mathematical symbols, arrows, and box-drawing characters. This does not mean every Unicode character is included.
- OpenType stylistic sets and character variants offer optional alternate glyph designs when supported and exposed by the application.
- Some contextual substitutions are available, but programming ligature display depends on the application or terminal interpreting them.
Install with brew install --cask font-juliamono. After installation, select JuliaMono as the font in a compatible application. For coding, choose it in a code editor or terminal that supports monospaced fonts; installing the cask alone does not change an application's font selection.
