Latin Modern

Latin Modern is an OpenType text-font family derived from Donald E. Knuth’s Computer Modern fonts. The GUST project describes extensions including diacritical characters for many scripts based on the Latin alphabet. This Homebrew cask installs 72 font files.

• The installed files include serif, sans-serif, and monospaced designs, with styles such as regular, bold, italic, and oblique represented among the files.
• The family is intended for use in applications that can use OpenType fonts, including document-processing software.
• Latin Modern Math is a separate font family; it is not the text-font package installed by this cask.

Install with brew install --cask font-latin-modern. After installation, select the installed Latin Modern font you want in a compatible application. This installs fonts, not a standalone application; for coding, choose a monospaced font file. The supplied files do not establish complete Unicode coverage or ligature support.
