Hurmit Nerd Font (Hermit)
Nerd Fonts project · A Hermit-based Nerd Font with monospaced, proportional, and Mono glyph variants in selected weights and styles.
About
Hurmit Nerd Font (Hermit) is a patched font based on Hermit, from the Nerd Fonts project. The installed files provide added icon glyphs alongside the font, for use wherever a compatible application can display the selected font.
This cask installs 18 font files, including regular, light, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles across the available files. The files include monospaced (HurmitNerdFontMono), proportional (HurmitNerdFontPropo), and standard HurmitNerdFont names. The package contains specific files rather than every possible style in each variant; for example, the listed proportional files include regular, light, italic, bold, and bold-italic, while the standard set does not include a light bold-italic file. Nerd Fonts describes its project as adding glyphs from icon sets to programming fonts; this package is the Hurmit font variant, not a font-patching utility or an application.
Install with brew install --cask font-hurmit-nerd-font. After installation, select the installed Hurmit font and desired style in a compatible application. For coding, choose a monospaced file in an editor or terminal; proportional files are also included. Font installation alone does not select the font in an application. The provided file list establishes which font files are included, not complete Unicode coverage or ligature support.
