About

GoogleSansCode Nerd Font (Google Sans Code) is a font package from the Nerd Fonts project, which patches developer-oriented fonts with additional glyphs. This Homebrew cask installs selected Google Sans Code Nerd Font files; it does not install a font-management or editing application.

The installed files cover regular, italic, bold, light, medium, semibold, and extra-bold styles, including italic counterparts for many weights. They include three Nerd Font glyph-width variants: the standard Nerd Font, Nerd Font Mono, and Nerd Font Propo. The Mono variant is suitable for coding or terminal use when a fixed-width typeface is needed; the Propo variant uses proportional glyph widths. These names identify the supplied font files, not a guarantee of complete Unicode coverage or ligature support.

Install with brew install --cask font-googlesanscode-nerd-font. After installation, select the desired Google Sans Code Nerd Font style in a compatible application’s font settings. For coding or terminal use, choose a monospaced style such as Nerd Font Mono. The cask installs specific font files rather than every possible Google Sans Code variant.
