Andale Mono

Andale Mono is a monospaced font distributed through the Homebrew cask font-andale-mono. The cask installs one font file, AndaleMo.TTF, in the user’s ~/Library/Fonts folder. This package installs a font, not an application.

To install it, run brew install --cask font-andale-mono. After installation, choose Andale Mono from the font settings of an application that supports selecting installed fonts. Because it is a monospaced font, it can be selected in a compatible code editor or terminal that offers font selection. Installing the file does not by itself change an application’s font settings.

The cask specifies a single font file; it does not establish that other styles or variants are included. The available details also do not establish Unicode coverage or ligature support, so those should not be assumed.
