ColorChecker Camera Calibration
Calibrite · Create custom camera color profiles from ColorChecker targets for Adobe Camera RAW and ICC workflows.
About
ColorChecker Camera Calibration is a macOS application for building custom camera color profiles from supported ColorChecker reference targets. It is intended to help establish consistent color across cameras and lenses and to adapt profiles to mixed lighting. The software can automatically locate a target in an image to assist profile creation.
- Creates profiles for Adobe Camera RAW (ACR) and ICC workflows.
- Supports ColorChecker 24-patch charts in Nano, Mini, Passport, Classic, XL, and Mega sizes, as well as the 140-patch ColorChecker SG chart.
- Offers tools to reduce color differences between cameras and lenses, balance color across scenes, and limit manual color adjustments.
- The vendor lists compatibility with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop Camera Raw, Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and Bridge for DNG and ICC profiles; Capture One is listed for ICC profiles.
Install with brew install --cask colorchecker-camera-calibration. The cask requires Rosetta. The vendor lists macOS 10.13 or later as the operating-system requirement, with current updates installed. A ColorChecker target is needed for the target-based profile workflow. The Adobe Lightroom Plug-In is a separately described way to use the profiling technology; this cask installs the standalone ColorChecker Camera Calibration application.
