CameraBag is a Photography and Images app for Mac.

About

CameraBag Photo is the photos-only edition of CameraBag, a macOS application for filtering and editing still images. It combines ready-made looks with controls for refining an edit; video processing is offered in the separate CameraBag Pro edition, not this variant.

  • Apply from a collection of more than 200 adjustable presets, including film-inspired, vintage, portrait, and landscape looks.
  • Fine-tune images with controls such as exposure, contrast, brightness, tone curves, color wheels, and white balance.
  • Layer and reorder adjustments, with the option to change their settings or toggle them on and off.
  • Add text overlays or watermarks, including when processing batches of images.

Install with brew install --cask camerabag-photo. This installs CameraBag Photo.app in /Applications; open the app to begin editing. The developer offers a seven-day trial, after which a license can be purchased to remove the time restriction. The official requirements for the Mac download are macOS 13 or newer and an M1 or later Mac.

Install without Homebrew

Download the same file Homebrew uses: nevercenter.com/camerabag/download/filearchive/Install_CameraBag_Photo_2026_2_0_mac.dmg

SHA-256 only checks that the download is complete; it is not a security certification. See the SHA-256 and download address

Uninstall command
$ brew uninstall --cask \camerabag-photo

A regular uninstall removes the app and keeps its settings and caches.

Deep clean (optional)
$ brew uninstall --zap --cask \camerabag-photo

--zap also deletes the settings, caches and other files listed in the Homebrew definition. They can include data shared with other apps and cannot be restored, and it does not guarantee that nothing is left.See which files are removed
