Another Redis Desktop Manager
qishibo and contributors · A cross-platform graphical Redis client for managing connections, browsing keys, editing values and inspecting command activity.
About
Another Redis Desktop Manager provides a graphical workspace for Redis connections and data. Browse databases and keys, inspect or edit supported values, organize connection groups and review command activity. It is a database client rather than a bundled Redis server or hosted database service.
Connections and data tools
Create a connection to a Redis service you are authorized to access, configure its host and authentication settings and select a database. The official project demonstrates a grouped key browser and formatted value editor. Recent releases add connection testing, copying command logs, and support for TimeSeries, Vector and ARRAY data types. Data-type availability depends on the connected Redis service and its modules. SSL/SNI configuration and connection groups support more complex deployments.
Mac installation
Download the Mac DMG matching your processor from the official releases or install the another-redis-desktop-manager cask. The publisher distributes separate Mac Intel and Apple Silicon builds, with Windows and Linux packages also available. The catalog declares no explicit minimum macOS version; check compatibility for your selected publisher package. A reachable Redis service and its credentials are separate requirements. Use the correct certificate and authentication settings for your environment, then test the connection before changing data.
License, price and privacy
The project is MIT-licensed open source with free release downloads. The publisher also offers paid app-store versions as a way to support development; store purchases are distinct from the free GitHub release. Redis hosting, remote infrastructure and services may have their own charges. The client connects to your configured database and handles potentially sensitive keys, values and credentials. Do not assume remote database traffic stays local or that every connection uses encryption by default.
Use accounts with the permissions appropriate for your tasks. Verify the database and key before editing, deleting or running commands; changes act on real data and may affect applications immediately. Avoid exposing a Redis service directly to an untrusted network and preserve backups before bulk changes. The app's graphical editor does not provide a database backup or automatically prevent destructive commands.
