介绍

Happ is a proxy-management utility built around the Xray core. The official desktop distribution provides a universal macOS application alongside Windows and Linux packages. This listing describes the exact Homebrew Happ desktop cask, not the separate iOS or Android app.

Connections and routing

The official project documents VLESS (including Reality), VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks and SOCKS connections, with flexible routing rules. Desktop release notes also describe subscriptions, configurable User-Agent values, system proxy exceptions and Xray TUN. Feature availability can depend on the tunnel provider, platform and subscription configuration.

Bring your own service

Happ does not sell VPN services. You must obtain access to a proxy server or configure your own infrastructure. The project says the app does not collect user data; this is an upstream privacy statement, not an independent security audit. Use the software in accordance with applicable local laws and the policies of your network.

macOS distribution

Homebrew records version 4.3.0 and installs Happ.app from Happ.macOS.universal.dmg, with macOS 13 or later recorded as the minimum requirement. The official desktop repository hosts installers and release notes; its presence alone does not establish that the complete application source code is published. Version 4.3.0 fixes loss of the VPN tunnel after sleep on macOS and Linux and introduces per-subscription User-Agent settings. Windows-specific fixes in the same release should not be mistaken for Mac changes.
