介紹

Tabularis is an open-source desktop database workspace for macOS, Windows and Linux. Its official documentation describes built-in support for MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL and SQLite, plus separately installed database-driver plugins. The built-in PostgreSQL driver is being replaced by the PostgreSQL plugin, which the app installs automatically.

Manage saved connection profiles, optionally store passwords in the system Keychain, and connect through SSH tunnels. The database explorer exposes tables, columns, keys, indexes, views and stored routines, with schema editing, database import/export and interactive entity-relationship diagrams.

The tabbed Monaco SQL editor provides syntax highlighting, completion, split views and multi-statement execution. Results appear in a data grid with inline and batch editing, row operations, CSV/JSON export and dedicated JSON viewers. SQL notebooks combine SQL and Markdown cells with inline results and charts; the visual query builder and EXPLAIN views help construct and inspect queries.

Optional AI assistance supports cloud providers and local Ollama models. A built-in MCP server allows compatible AI agents to read schemas and run queries; these integrations are distinct from the standalone desktop interface. External driver plugins communicate with the app over JSON-RPC through standard input/output.

On macOS, install with brew install --cask tabularis or use the official architecture-specific DMG. The Homebrew package requires macOS 12 or later. Upstream states that releases from 0.13.1 onward are signed and notarized by Apple.
